I was at the corner market, talking to the clerk about registering to vote. His take: “As far as I’m concerned its all Indian land, anyway.” He has a point, I suppose, but I think the Indians are getting revenge by building casinos.
North Korea set off a nuclear weapon last night. Bush might have been able to forestall this eventuality, but then he had to go call them part of the EVIL AXIS. Not sure how he’ll respond to this, but I’m sure he’ll try to blame democrats, somehow.
We will need, as a species, in the 21st century, to come to terms with information flood. What am I supposed to think of North Korea nukes? Dunno, but we’ve been the only country willing to kill other people with nukes up till now. I would also hope that in the 21st century, we get to regain a sense of discovery.
