You’re The Decider
Vote Nov. 7

Mom passes along this admittedly funny joke about elections. Get used to a bunch more like this. It originates from the people who win when you stay home and don’t participate. Sure power corrupts, and people make an awful lot of promises during campaign time that they don’t keep.

But it’s a failure of the imagination to think that government in and of itself can’t work.
Keep hope alive and all that. Congress is almost no longer in session, so expect a lot more of this from the dirty tricks folks.

This country would not be on the wrong track if everyone voted.

Anti-voter propaganda 101
“I know of no safe depository of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them but to inform their discretion.”
--Thomas Jefferson
